Shear Ego International School of Hair Design offers a refresher program that is designed to improve or refresh the knowledge of a cosmetology graduate in New York State Board requirements.

This program consists of 35 hours up to 150 hours of training in Cosmetology.  The program is designed specifically for the State Board Examination preparation.

Upon completion of a Refresher course a student will receive a Cosmetology Refresher Certificate.  A graduate of this program would then be qualified to take the New York State Cosmetology State Exam.

Either proof of a current New York State Cosmetology license or license from a state with reciprocity with New York or proof of completion of a minimum of 1000 hours of a hairdressing & Cosmetology curriculum in New York State.  An evaluation will be made to determine the number of hours to be taken.
