Our Hairdressing and Cosmetology Program is designed to fashion you into a highly skilled hair professional, expertly trained in all aspects of cosmetology.

You will experience 1000 hours of extensive training, covering hair treatments, shaping, analysis, colouring, styling, texturizing, perming, braiding and relaxing.  You will also learn scalp treatments, facials, makeup and manicuring.

Both theory and practical knowledge will be presented to you in a multitude of methods (classroom, workshops, audio-visual lectures and demonstrations) to thoroughly prepare you to pass the New York State Examination.

Once a solid understanding of the fundamentals of hairdressing has been established, you will experience our La Coiffure Seminar, an advanced hair cutting class.  Under the direction of Peter Webb, world-champion hairstylist, you will refine and finesse your skills, empowering you to develop into a true artist and craftsman.

After receiving a cosmetology certification from Shear Ego International School of Hair Design, you will be able to completely manage all of your artistic and professional responsibilities.  A variety of creative career opportunities will be available to you, including hair stylist, permanent wave specialist (permist), hair colouring specialist (colourist), make up technician and platform artist.

The total cost of our Hairdressing and Cosmetology Program is $11,900.00.  This fee includes tuition, registration fee, books and equipment.  Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.

Program Hours:

FULL-TIME: Monday- Friday, 9am-4pm for 7 1/2 months

PART-TIME: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 6pm-10pm & Saturday 9am-4:30pm, for about 13 months
